Autumn Berries - Finished!

Well, the idea was to post a lot of progress shots along the way.....um, I got one more and then I finished it! LOL

Here is the progress shot, with the first wash on some of the leaves.

Then, since it was such a yucky, rainy day, I did nothing but paint. I had the house to myself (Pat was at a Chili cook-off),I had the music blaring, and I proceeded to overwork that one leaf there. (The dark one)

Overall I was fairly satisfied with most of this painting, there are parts I really like and some not so much.

Anyway, onward and upward!

Hi Patty,

i saw this painting at wet canvas and love it. i don't feel the leaves are overworked...it's a beautful piece! I am also a member of wet canvas, don't get there (or anywhere online) as often as i'd like!

Just wanted to say "hello" and become a follower of your blog...

Thanks so much Billie! I tried to leave a message on your blog too, but I don't think it worked!

I did get your message, Patty.:) The new way Google has set up the comments makes it hard to tell if they actually post or not.
